Hebrews 8:12 (NIV)
"For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."
Hebrews 8 reminds us of one of the most powerful promises in all of Scripture, God doesn’t just forgive… He chooses to forget.
Think about that.
The mistakes you regret…
The sins you’ve carried…
The things that still try to accuse you…
God says, “I remember them no more.”
Through Jesus, the old is gone. The guilt is broken. The record has been wiped clean.
We often hold onto what God has already released. We replay what God has already erased. But today, God is calling you to step fully into the freedom of the new covenant.
You are not defined by your past.
You are not held by your failures.
You are not who you used to be.
You are forgiven. You are restored. You are made new.
Encouragement for today:
Stop carrying what Jesus already paid for. Walk in freedom. Walk in grace. Walk in the truth that you are fully forgiven.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your mercy and grace. Thank You that You have forgiven me completely and remember my sins no more. Help me to walk in that freedom and not return to what You have already set me free from. Amen.
