Satan only wants to use and abuse women, and Genesis 6 tells us that the “sons of God” married any woman they chose. These women weren’t valued or treasured. The result of these abhorrent unions were the giant Nephilim, or mighty men with demonically charged supernatural strength who would advance Satan’s kingdom. This was among the reasons God destroyed the earth in the worldwide flood. The Bible later tells us these fallen angels are being kept in eternal chains of darkness until the judgment (2 Peter 2:4; Jude 6).
