As we worshipped and lifted our praise to the Lord, I saw dark clouds above us. But as our praise continued to rise, light began to break through the cloud.
Then I saw oil and honey flowing down the walls of the building, covering them and dripping down. I sensed the sweetness of God’s presence and the anointing of His Spirit being released among His people.
Around the outside of the building I saw something like a tornado circling the building. Yet it did not feel destructive. Instead it reminded me of the cloud by day that the Israelites experienced in the wilderness the visible sign of God’s presence surrounding and covering His people.
As the worship rose higher, I saw an opening appear in the cloud above us. Standing there were angels. These angels began directing our praise upward toward heaven.
As our praise entered the courts of the Lord, I saw angels already in heaven bowed in deep worship before Him. The angels that carried our praise guided it toward the throne room of God.
Our praise began to rise like fragrant smoke, like a beautiful perfume drifting upward, and it went into the nostrils of the Lord as a pleasing offering.
Then I sensed the Lord saying,
“Your praise is acceptable before Me.”
At that moment I saw angels standing to attention, waiting for the command of the Lord.
And I heard the Lord say,
“Ask of Me, and I will send My angels to accomplish it.”
I felt that this was an invitation from the Lord for the church to move from worship into intercession, because heaven is ready to respond.
Psalm 141:2
“Let my prayer be set before You as incense, the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.”
Revelation 5:8
“…each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people.”
Exodus 13:21
“By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way”
Hebrews 1:14
“Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?”
