LET'S TALK ABOUT IT.
CHARMS ARE NOT OF GOD.
You cannot mix Christ with charms.
The “evil eye” is not harmless. It is not cultural decoration. It is not “just jewelry.” It is rooted in superstition and spiritual belief systems that are not of God.
When you rely on an object for protection, you are opening a door to a spirit behind that object.
You are replacing the protection of God with a counterfeit.
And what that says spiritually is this:
“Jesus isn’t enough to keep me safe.”
As believers, we are not called to mix truth with superstition. We are called to trust in the Lord alone.
Psalm 121:7–8
“The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”
The Lord preserves you — not a charm.
The Lord guards you — not a symbol.
Deuteronomy 18:10–12
“There shall not be found among you any one that… useth divination… or a charmer… For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord.”
God does not play about spiritual mixture.
2 Corinthians 6:16–17
“What agreement hath the temple of God with idols? … Come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord.”
Charms create spiritual bondage because they tie your faith to an object instead of the finished work of Christ.
Jesus is enough.
His blood is enough.
His name is enough.
His Spirit is enough.
If you have evil eyes, charms, or objects tied to superstition — destroy them.
Acts 19:19
“Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men…”
They didn’t justify it.
They didn’t keep it “just in case.”
They burned it.
Put your faith back in Jesus Christ alone.
Anything else is a counterfeit.
