Perhaps Today

Tuesday 24

Alive in Christ

Galatians 2:20 KJV
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

Perhaps today, you are being reminded that your old life no longer defines you. The drugs and the alcohol are all a thing of the past. In Christ, you have been made new. The desires of the flesh, the weight of sin, and the person you once were, have been nailed to the cross with Him. Now the life you live is not meant to be lived in your own strength, but through Christ who lives in you.

This verse is a powerful reminder that the Christian life is a surrendered life. It is no longer about living for self, but about letting Jesus lead, shape, and shine through you. Because He loved you and gave Himself for you, you can walk by faith each day with confidence, knowing you belong to Him.

Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You that through Christ I am no longer who I used to be. Help me to die to self and live each day by faith in Your Son. Let my words, my thoughts, and my actions reflect the life of Christ within me. Thank You for loving me and giving Yourself for me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
