The Fruit That Never Runs Dry
While praying I saw a vision of a vine. It was beautifully kept, carefully manicured, and full of vibrant green leaves. It was clear that this vine had been intentionally tended and cared for.
Hanging from the vine was a cluster of fruit. They looked like grapes, but they were unusually large, about the size of tennis balls. They were full, heavy, and rich with life.
As I watched, a hand reached toward the fruit. The hand began to gently but purposefully squeeze the grapes. As they were pressed, juice began to flow from them and run down along the vine. Instead of harming the vine, the juice fed it and strengthened it, bringing nourishment and life back into the vine itself.
The hand continued to press the fruit again and again, yet something remarkable happened. The fruit never diminished. No matter how much it was squeezed, the supply never ran dry.
I sensed the Lord showing that what He produces in His people is not limited by natural measure. When the fruit He has grown is pressed and poured out, it does not lead to emptiness or loss. Instead, what flows out brings life, nourishment, and strength to the whole vine.
There are seasons when the Lord allows the fruit to be pressed. It may feel like pressure, but it is not destruction. It is the releasing of what He has already placed within.
The life that flows from that pressing strengthens the vine and nourishes what God is continuing to grow.
What the Lord produces is abundant. And what He releases through His people will not run dry.
Jesus said,
“I am the vine, you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.”
John 15:5
And the fruit that comes from His Spirit is life giving
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”
Galatians 5:22–23
When we remain in Him, the fruit He produces is abundant, and even in the pressing His life continues to flow.
