What good is a police officer that has authority and never exercises it. They have the authority to arrest trespassers and those operating illegally. They have the power to bind criminals with handcuffs and they have the ability and authority to loose those who re being held captive.
“I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth shall have [already]been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose [permit, declare lawful] on earth shall have [already] been loosed in heaven. [Matt 16:19]”

We have allowed Satan to operate, unchecked and unchallenged in our lives, because we have not been exercising our God given authority. It has nothing to do with how you feel, as to whether or not you are worthy. The Word has been spoken and released over every son and daughter of God. It’s a part of your calling. You are a joint heir with Yeshua the Christ, that means you have authority because He has authority, and He’s given it to you.

““Receive this truth: Whatever you forbid on earth will be considered to be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you release on earth will be considered to be released in heaven.”
