Sometimes I sit in awe of His grace. I think of all the times I’ve failed, the moments I’ve turned away, the times I’ve let Him down and yet, He still pursues me. He loves me, provides for me, blesses me, and speaks to me even when I don’t deserve it. I don’t understand why, and I can’t explain it. I only know that it’s His nature to love, His heart to forgive, and His hands to sustain me.

I cry because of the depth of His mercy. Not because I’ve earned it, but because He sees me fully, knows all my flaws, and yet never stops loving me. His love doesn’t depend on my performance it depends on who He is.

I want to love like that. I want to love with patience, with forgiveness, with grace that pursues and restores. I realise that I can’t manufacture that kind of love on my own. It comes from receiving His love first, letting it settle in my heart, letting it reshape me. The more I rest in Him, the more His love flows through me to others, and even to myself.

So I release the burden of trying to earn it. I choose to rest in Him. I choose to receive His love, to be shaped by it, and to let it teach me how to love. The love I admire in Him is already growing in me. And with every step, every breath, every tear, I trust Him to lead me deeper into that love.
