Perhaps Today — Hosanna
And so it begins… Holy Week.
The day our Savior came riding in on a donkey’s back—
not in power as the world expects,
but in humility, peace, and purpose.
Crowds lined the road, waving palm branches,
shouting, “Hosanna in the highest!”
—“God, save us!”
Yet only days later,
many of those same voices would cry, “Crucify Him.”
How quickly hearts can shift
when expectations are not met.
Perhaps today…
we don’t just praise Him when it’s easy,
but remain faithful when it costs us something.
Hosanna—
not just a shout in the moment,
but a surrender for a lifetime.
And so it begins… Holy Week.
