When you try to put a puzzle together, if the pieces aren’t placed where they belong, they don’t fit and it messes up the whole picture.

We can be like those puzzle pieces.

When we try to fit where we don’t belong when we step into roles we were never called to when we force ourselves into spaces God never designed for us the picture just isn’t right. It doesn’t come together the way it should.

Everybody is searching for the place where they belong where their piece fits perfectly.

So we try things.
We search.
We experiment.
Some turn to drugs, some to alcohol, others try to create entirely new identities anything to feel like they finally “fit.”

But if you are not true to who God created you to be if you step outside of His purpose for your life no matter how hard you try, the pieces will never fully come together.

And here’s the truth
You were never meant to complete the puzzle on your own.

A single piece cannot form the full picture. It needs the others.

“So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” Romans 12:5

We belong to something bigger. We are connected. Every piece matters.

God is not creating a one size fits all puzzle. Every piece is different. Every piece is unique. And every piece has a specific place where it fits perfectly.

Some people seem to find that place quickly.
Others search for years, wondering where they belong.

But this is what the Word reminds us
You are not random.
You are not misplaced.
You are not overlooked.

You were intentionally created by God, formed with purpose from the very beginning Genesis 1:27.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:13–16.
You are His workmanship His masterpiece created in Christ Jesus for good works He prepared in advance for you Ephesians 2:10

And within the body of Christ, you have a role. A function. A gift. A place 1 Corinthians 12; Romans 12.

So how do you find where you fit?

You seek Him.

Ask God to reveal your calling. Ask Him for discernment to see yourself the way He sees you.

Study His Word, letting it act as a mirror, revealing both your gifts and the areas He is still shaping James 1:22–25.

Step out and serve. Sometimes you discover where you fit by simply being willing to show up. In community, in the church, in everyday moments you begin to see where your life brings life to others.

And if you’re still unsure start here

Follow Jesus daily.

Because often your purpose isn’t found in a title
It’s found in obedience.

It’s found in becoming more like Him right where you are.

And as you walk with Him, piece by piece

He will place you exactly where you belong.
