Good morning church family.
In Zechariah 2, we see a vision of a man measuring Jerusalem trying to define its size and limits. But God interrupts with a powerful message:
Zechariah 2:4-5
âRun, tell that young man, âJerusalem will be a city without walls because of the great number of people and animals in it. And I myself will be a wall of fire around it,â declares the Lord, âand I will be its glory within.ââ
This is powerful!
The people were thinking in terms of limits, safety, and structure⊠but God was saying:
* You wonât need walls when I am your protection.
* You wonât need boundaries when I am your covering.
Sometimes we try to âmeasureâ our lives:
â Our future
â Our calling
â Our resources
But God is not limited by what we see or understand.
* Where we see lack⊠God sees expansion.
* Where we feel exposed⊠God says, âI am your wall of fire.â
He doesnât just protect from a distance, He surrounds, He covers, and He dwells among His people.
Zechariah 2:10
âShout and be glad, Daughter Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you,â declares the Lord.
This is the heart of the message:
Godâs greatest promise is not just provision or protectionâŠ
Itâs His presence.
Teaching Points:
* Stop limiting what God wants to expand
* Trust God as your protector, not just your plans
* Value His presence above everything else
Encouragement:
You are not exposed.
You are not alone.
God Himself is your covering, your defender, and your glory within.
Today, walk boldly knowing:
* God surrounds you
* God defends you
* God dwells with you
Be encouraged and stay in His presence
