Good Friday – "The Crucifixion” (A)
Isaiah 53:5 – “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”
Comment:
Every wound, bruise, and stripe was for you—your transgressions, iniquities, peace, and healing. The “generation of vipers” inflicted the suffering yet missed its meaning.
Today, stand at the cross in awe. Receive healing and peace purchased by His stripes.
As we remember Good Friday, let gratitude overwhelm you. The blood still heals. The empty tomb proves the suffering was not in vain. Thank You, Jesus!
Prayer Points:
Lord Jesus, thank You for being wounded for my transgressions.
Father, apply Your stripes for my healing and peace today.
