This piece is cerebral and so, not for many. This piece is at the same time, necessary for anyone concerned with life on earth that has changed more in 2026 than ever before. If you fall into that second group, I ask your indulgence. In fairness to your time, let me get to the point now, before that time runs out: the goodness of God that has allowed you one more day to read this, has paid for your debt (incurred by no fault of your own) on the Cross of Calvary (1 Cor 15:3-8) and provided the receipt of payment by Him raising Jesus from the dead (Rom 1:4). Your gift has been bought, and all that’s left on this Good Friday morning is for you to believe that, repent, and accept that gift of eternal life.
What drove this message is urgency, and the urgency is illuminated by certain global symptoms that tell me our time is up: the dispensation of grace, or the time when God made His salvation free for us through Jesus’ payment, is about to close. Please do not ignore this message.
According to Asian Boss on his YouTube channel, the friction at the Strait of Hormuz is sending ripples all throughout the world currently, and things are going to get worse, deeply, before they can think of getting better.
But, how did we get here, and what does this mean for you in the pre-life?
If you’re not sure what I’m talking about, let me spare you a little explainer.
Jesus said “if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for you to enter into life maimed, than with two hands, enter into hell.” (Matt 5:29-30) (Mark 9:43-48) It stands to reason that people on this earth are not “in” life yet. We are in what I like to call “the pre-life.”
This is not a mistake; this is not a lab; it is not God trying to ‘get it right,’ as people ascribe the trial-and-error process to the theory of evolution. This existence in the temporal plane is God’s grace: unearned favour allowing us time to accept Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary, His payment for the sins of man fulfilling the justice of the Holy Father, and His resurrection proving that He was and is exactly who He said He is.
If we accept this reality, through faith, then we have entered into ‘life’ as John chapter 1 describes.
Having come into life, we have certain promises open to us, who are now referred to as the Body of Christ on earth, who will be the Bride of Christ in heaven.
We have life eternal (John 10:28)
We have a heavenly home prepared for us by The Way, The Truth and The Life, Who is Jesus (John 14:1-3)
We have a ride waiting to take us out of here at the appointed time (John 14:3)(1 Thess 4:15-17)(1 Cor 15:51-52)
But what of the rest of the earth-dwellers (as Dr. John Barnett loves to call humans who have not received the love of Christ)? We who have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, have a new destination awaiting us and are about to leave this war-torn world, wherein God will pour out His wrath on Christ-rejectors and enemies of His people, Israel. This is not my opinion: my 137 IQ points could barely be sufficient to put together the events exactly as they will unfold; this is prophecy. There is coming in a very short time, seven years of unparalleled travail on the human society. It is known biblically as The Great Tribulation spoken of in Matt 24 and Revelation 6-19.
Events that prophecy depict are not speculation, and they are not fortune-telling. They are future history that has been recorded by the ability only God possesses, as He is outside of time. Prophecy seems too neuron-heavy for many Christian believers, and too fantastical for many skeptics and scoffers. But rest assured, prophecy is not that complicated. God has declared “I shall watch over my word to perform it,” (Jer 1:12) and as He is sovereign over His creation, He can do exactly that.
So when we see all the dominoes lining up that shout extrapolation to a predetermined end, we should not be surprised. In fact, those of you familiar with the MCU will no doubt recall inevitable points or people that must of necessity exist for their “multiverse” to not collapse. They call them “nexus” events or people. In real life, there are events that, when looked at objectively, have no logical right to have happened. There are companies that have no economic theorems backing up their unrealistic performance. There are some people who have stumbled upon such sickeningly simple discoveries that have changed the world, that we wonder at them.
These are our reality’s version of “nexus” events, and for today, I would like to focus on one of them and tie it to the devastation of the world’s economy that is staring out at us from the Strait of Hormuz.
Please watch the video that I’ve included to get a domino-by-domino description of what is coming next for the world economy but let me offer a prophetic inevitability that no one (and this is not exaggeration) has spoken of.
For Iran to be able to leverage the Strait and hold the world’s middle-class ransom, the world [economies] needed to have been vulnerable to the dire necessity of crude oil. This pathway, while decried by the climate ambassadors as overbearing upon the earth, was not always our sole avenue for progress.
Many of you are familiar with (again) the MCU’s Arc Reactor invented by Tony Stark: clean, almost limitless energy that was compact and fundamental for tech innovations that boggled the mind. Not many of you may know that there was in this timeline in which we live, a man who had produced something similar. In fact, the inventions of this man were so intrinsic to our way of life, that the very electricity you are using to read this message, became proliferated because of him.
The man is of course, Nikola Tesla. Tesla had patents for a wireless energy device that he had envisioned and built a prototype of, and which needed only funding to come to fruition. Tesla was a genius at reading the natural world, and according to reports, often envisioned his final product and its attendant stages of production in his head, before a design was ever embarked on. He was not so good, sadly, at reading people, and approached maybe the worst person possible to fund his project.
The person who would turn quickly from a benefactor to a malefactor was none other than J. P. Morgan. It is a matter of historical fact that Morgan, rather than allowing the genius research to afford the world an alternative source of energy, power and stability, used his considerable influence to black-ball Tesla and have his Wardenclyffe Tower transmission device demolished. In 1903, J.P. Morgan was an octopus: he had tentacles in (U.S. Steel); Northern Pacific and the Erie Railroad; General Electric (GE) formed from his fusion of competing firms Edison General and Thomas-Houston, and J.P. Morgan & Co. He held so much private money that in 1907, he singlehandedly bailed out the US Treasury under president, Teddy Roosevelt. The story goes that when Tesla finally admitted to him that his real goal was free energy, he responded with “If anyone can draw the power, where do we put the meter?”
We can see that Morgan was not into supply chains for the masses: he was into them for the money. By 1904, Tesla’s vision began to rot, and shortly after, he was bankrupt.
Morgan continued to profit off of all the ingredients that helped to build modern life and today, these, in addition to fertilizers and foundation chemicals for our digital technologies are being funnelled and bottlenecked through the Strait of Hormuz.
If we recall what the Book of Revelation records about the third Horseman of the Apocalypse, a voice from the midst of the four beasts shouted, “a measure of wheat for a penny (day’s wage) and three measures of barley for a penny (day’s wage) and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.” Rev 6:6.
People, the conditions for recession are coalescing, and while we know the Great World War of Revelation 6 will also produce hefty inflation, we don’t want you to have to endure even one minute of the Tribulation, which Jesus launches at the opening of the First Seal, and the unveiling of the first Horseman, the Antichrist. Please accept Jesus’ payment now, and put your trust in Him now, so that these words He spoke to the church at Philadelphia may be yours, too: because you have kept the word of my patience, I will keep you from the hour of temptation that comes to try all them that live on the earth. Rev 3:7-10.
Let us make this a truly good Good Friday.
Even so, come Lord Jesus. Amen.
