Easter, or Passover?

Know the Truth!

Many celebrate Easter with eggs, bunnies, and sunrise services but is this what God commanded?

* The Biblical Fact:

Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God (John 1:29)
He died during Passover (Matthew 26:2)
He rose on the first day of the week (Matthew 28:1–6)
God already gave us His appointed feasts to remember His salvation! (Leviticus 23)

* The Easter Twist:

The word “Easter” comes from Eostre, a pagan goddess of spring
Eggs & bunnies = symbols of fertility, not Bible truth

* The Real Memorial:

Passover points to Jesus – the spotless Lamb whose blood saves (1 Corinthians 5:7)

Sabbath reminds us of God’s creation & His ultimate plan of redemption (Exodus 20:8–11)

Takeaway:
You don’t need eggs or bunnies to celebrate the resurrection.

Honor God by remembering Jesus the Lamb and keeping His feasts holy!
