Fear Not man, Fear the One True God-Long Version NKJV

Proverbs 1:7-10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.

My son, hear the instruction of your father, And do not forsake the law of your mother;

For they will be a graceful ornament on your head, And chains about your neck.

My son, if sinners entice you, Do not consent.

Proverbs 29:22-27 An angry man stirs up strife, And a furious man abounds in transgression.

A man's pride will bring him low, But the humble in spirit will retain honor.

Whoever is a partner with a thief hates his own life; He swears to tell the truth, but reveals nothing.

The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.

Many seek the ruler's favor, But justice for man comes from the LORD.

An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous, And he who is upright in the way is an abomination to the wicked.

Job 28:20-28 "From where then does wisdom come? And where is the place of understanding?

Is it hidden from the eyes of all living, and concealed from the birds of the air.

Destruction and Death say, 'We have heard about it with our ears.'

God understands its way, And He knows its place.

For He looks to the ends of the earth, And sees under the whole heavens,

To establish a weight for the wind, And apportion the waters by measure.

When He made a law for the rain, And a path for the thunderbolt,

Then He saw wisdom and declared it; He prepared it, indeed, He searched it out.

And to man He said, 'Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding.'"

Matthew 10:27-33 "Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops.

"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

"Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will.

"But the very hairs of your head are all numbered,

"Do not fear therefore; you are more value than many sparrows.

"Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.

"But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

2 Timothy 1:7-12 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God,

who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,

but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,

to which I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.

Romans 8:12-21 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors--not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.

For if we live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

For I consider that the the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.

For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope,

because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

1 John 4:17-21 Love has been perfected among us in this; that we may have have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

We love Him because He first loved us.

If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

And this commandment we have from Him; that he who loves God must love his brother also.

1 John 5:4-5 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith.

Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
