Do Not Fear Or Be Afraid Nehemiah 6:13-Job 21:16 NKJV

Nehemiah 6:13-14 For this reason he was hired, that I should be afraid and act that way and sin, so that they might have cause for an evil report, that they might reproach me.

My God, remember Tobiah and Sanballat, according to these their works, and the prophetess Noadiah and the rest of the prophets who would have made me afraid.

Nehemiah 6:17-19 Also in those days the nobles of Judah sent many letters to Tobiah, and the letters of Tobiah came to them.

For many in Judah were pledged to him, because he was the son-in-law of Shechaniah the son of Arah, and his son Jehohanan had married the daughter of Meshullam the son of Berechiah.

Also they reported his good deeds before me, and reported my words to him. Tobiah sent letters to frighten me.

Esther 8:15-17 So Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, with a great crown of gold and a garment of fine linen and purple; and the city of Shushan rejoiced and was glad.

The Jews had light and gladness, joy and honor.And in every province and city, wherever the king's command and decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a holiday. Then many of the people of the land became Jews, because fear of the Jews fell upon them.

Esther 9:2-4 The Jews gathered together in their cities throughout all the provinces of King Ahasuerus to lay hands on those who sought their harm, And no one could withstand them, because fear of them fell upon all people.

And all the officials of the provinces, the satraps, the governors, and all those doing the king's work, helped the Jews, because the fear of Mordecai fell upon them,

For Mordecai was great in the king's palace, and his fame spread throughout all the provinces; for this man Mordecai became increasingly prominent.

Job 4:12 -21 "Now a word was secretly brought to me, And my ear received a whisper of it.

In disquieting thoughts from the visions of the night, When deep sleep falls on men,

Fear came upon me, and trembling, Which made all my bones shake.

Then a spirit passed before my face; The hair on my body stood up.

It stood still, But I could not discern its appearance. A form was before my eyes; There was silence; Then I heard a voice saying;

'Can a mortal be more righteous than God? Can a man be more pure than his Maker?

If he puts no trust in His servants, If he charges His angels with error,

How much more those who dwell in houses of clay, Whose foundation is in the dust, Who are crushed before a moth?

They are broken in pieces from morning till evening; They perish forever, with no one regarding.

Does not their own excellence go away? They die, even without wisdom.'

Job 9:32-35 "For he is not a man, as I am, That I may answer Him, And that we should go to court together,

Nor is there any mediator between us, Who may lay his hand on us both.

Let Him take his rod away from me, and do not let dread of Him terrify me.

Then I would speak and not fear Him, But it is not so with me.

Job 11:14-20 If iniquity were in your hand, and you put it far away, and would not let wickedness dwell in your tents;

Then surely you could lift up your face without spot; Yes, you could be steadfast, and not fear;

Because you would forget your misery, and remember it as waters that have passed away,

And your life would be brighter than noonday. Though you were dark, you would be like the morning.

And you would be secure, because there is hope. Yes, you would dig around you, and take your rest in safety.

You would also lie down, and no one make you afraid; Yes, many would court your favor.

But the eyes of the wicked will fail, And they shall not escape, And their hope--loss of life!"

Job 15:1-6 Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said;

"Should a wise man answer with empty knowledge, And fill with the east wind?

Should he reason with unprofitable talk, Or by speeches with which he can do no good?

Yes, you cast off fear, And restrain prayer before God.

For your iniquity teaches your mouth, And you choose the tongue of the crafty.

Your own mouth condemns you, and Not I; Yes, your own lips testify against you.

Job 21:6-16 Even when I remember I am terrified, And trembling takes hold of my flesh.

Why do the wicked live and become old, Yes, become mighty in power?

Their descendants are established with them in their sight, And their offspring before their eyes.

Their houses are safe from dear, Neither is the rod of God upon them.

Their bull breeds without failure; their cow calves without miscarriage.

They send forth their little ones like a flock, And their children dance. They sing to the tambourine and harp, And rejoice to the sound of the flute.

They spread their days in wealth, And in a moment go down to the grave.

Yet they say to God, 'Depart from us, For we do not desire the knowledge of Your ways.

Who is the Almighty, that we should serve Him? And what profit do we have if we pray to Him?

Indeed their prosperity is not in their hand; The counsel of the wicked is far from me.
