Revelation 1:1-3 NKJV
Revelation 1:1-3 THE Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants--things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John,
who bore witness to the word of God, ant to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw.
Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophesy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.
John 3:29-36 "He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled.
"He must increase, but I must decrease.
"He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.
"And what He has seen and heard, that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony.
"He who has received His testimony has certified that God is true.
"For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure.
"The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand.
"He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."
Revelation 22:6-16 Then he said to me, "These words are faithful and true." And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place.
"Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophesy of this book."
Now I, John saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.
Then he said to me, "See that you do not do that, For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book, Worship God."
And he said to em, "Do not seal the words of the prophesy of this book, for the time is at hand.
"He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still."
"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.
"I am the the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last."
Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
"I, Jesus, have sent My angle to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star."
Luke 11:27-32 And it happened, as He spoke these things, that a certain woman from the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, "Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts which nursed You!"
But He said, "More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!"
And while the crowds were thickly gathered together, He began to say, "This is an evil generation. It seeks a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah the prophet.
"For as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so also the Son of Man will be to this generation.
"The queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation and condemn them, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and indeed a greater than Solomon is here.
"The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a greater than Jonah is here.
James 5:7-16 Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.
You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!
My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience.
Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord--that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.
But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your "Yes be "Yes", and your "No" "No," lest you fall into judgment.
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms.
Is anyone of you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
