Matthew 7:1-6 Be Careful About Judging Others Comparing NCV Nelson 7223y, KJV Simplified
Judging Others
Matthew 7:1-6 KJV Simplified "Do not judge, that you not be judged.
For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged. And with what measure you use, it shall be measured for you again.
And why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye but do not consider the beam that is in your own eye?
Or how will you say to your brother, 'Let me pull the speck out of your eye,' and behold, a beam is in your own eye?
You hypocrite. First cast the beam out of your own eye, and then you shall see clearly to cast the speck out of your brother's eye.
"Do not give what is holy to the dogs. Do not cast your pearls before swine, let they trample them under their feet and turn back and tear you apart.
The Law of Love Concerning Doubtful Things
Romans 14:1-4 KJV Simplified Receive him who is weak in the faith, but not to doubtful arguments.
For one believes that he may eat all things; another who is weak eats vegetables.
Do not let him who eats despise him who does not eat, and do not let him who does not eat judge him who eats, for God has received him.
Who are you who judges another man's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Yes, he shall be held up, for God is able to make him stand.
Immorality Rebukes, Disciples Commanded
1 Corinthians 5:1-5 KJV Simplified It is commonly reported that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not even named among the Gentiles--that one has his father's wife.
And you are puffed up and have not rather mourned, that he who has done this deed might be taken away from among you.
For truly, as absent in body but present in spirit, I have already judged concerning him who has done this deed, as though I were present.
When you are gathered together in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord Jesus.
Luke 6:37-42 KJV Simplified "Do not judge, and you shall not be judged. Do not condemn, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you shall be forgiven.
Give, and it shall be given to you. Good measure--pressed down, and shaken together, and running over--shall be given by men into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it shall be measured back to you.
And He spoke a parable to them, "Can the blind lead the blind? Shall they not both fall into the ditch?
The disciple is not above his master, but everyone who is perfect shall be like his master.
And why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye but do not perceive the beam that is in your own eye?
How can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me pull out the speck that is in your eye,' when you yourself do not see the beam that is in your own eye? You hypocrite! First cast the beam out of your own eye, and then you shall see clearly to pull out the speck that is in your brother's eye.
Proverbs 9:7-9 KJV Simplified He who rebukes a scorner gets shame for himself, and he who rebukes a wicked man gets himself hurt.
Do not rebuke a scorner, lest he hate you; rebuke a wise man, and he will love you.
Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be wiser yet; teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
