I am doing a series of posts called Creation Speaks

“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭19‬:‭1‬ ‭

“For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.” Romans‬ ‭1‬:‭20‬ ‭

The Sun – light, life, and faithfulness

The sun speaks.

Not with words
but with rhythm.
With light.
With consistency.

Day after day, it rises.
Night after night, it sets.

Psalm 19 tells us that the heavens pour forth speech
a silent, constant testimony to the glory of God.

And the sun is one of the clearest voices in that testimony.

The rising of the sun reveals God’s faithfulness.

It does not fail.
It does not forget.
It does not delay.

Each morning, light breaks through darkness again.

A reminder that God is constant.
Steady.
Faithful.

The sun also reveals God’s provision.

Without it, there would be no life.

No light.
No warmth.
No growth.

It sustains the earth
powering plants, producing food, and making life possible.

Everything depends on its presence.

And even its placement speaks.

Too close and everything would burn.
Too far and everything would freeze.

But it is perfectly positioned.

Not by chance
but by design.

A reflection of a God who orders all things with wisdom and care.

The sun becomes a picture of something greater.

It points us to Christ
the true Light.

The One who:
• brings light into darkness
• gives life to what is dead
• sustains and holds all things together

And just as the sun sits at the centre of our solar system,
so God is meant to be at the centre of our lives

the source of:
• our light
• our life
• our sustenance

The sun separates light from darkness.

And in the same way,
God brings clarity where there was confusion,
truth where there was deception,
and life where there was darkness.

Every sunrise becomes an invitation to remember:

God is still faithful.
God is still sustaining.
God is still shining.

Even after the longest night,
light comes again.I am doing a series of posts called Creation Speaks
