Set Apart for God

Leviticus 20:26 (NKJV)
And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.

Chosen and Set Apart

In this verse, God reminds His people that holiness is not only a command—it is a calling. He separated Israel from the surrounding nations so that they would belong entirely to Him. Their lives were to reflect His character and bring glory to His name. Holiness was not about pride or distance but about devotion and identity.

For believers today, this same truth applies. Through Jesus Christ, we have been set apart as God’s people. We are called to live differently from the world—not in isolation but in distinction. Holiness means living in such a way that others can see God’s nature through us.

This verse reminds us that being “set apart” is not a burden but a privilege. It means belonging to God and living for His purposes.

Prayer
