The Eyes Of YHWH

I want to talk about the eyes of YHWH. Now, don’t get me wrong here I’m not talking about the eyesight of YHWH. I’m talking about what does YHWH see when he looks down on us. Is he pleased with what he sees?

Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of YHWH are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

We need to be careful…
1. What we say –
Psalms 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O YHWH, my strength, and my redeemer.

Matthew 12:36-37 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

James 1:19-20 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of YHWH.

2. What we do – Now what I mean with this is we need to ask ourselves before we do something is what I am about to do pleasing to YHWH?

3. What we hear – Here I am speaking of idle gossip (talebearers), rude and crude jokes, things that are not pleasing to YHWH.

4. What we listen to – What kind of music are we listening to?

5. What we say – What kind of words are coming out of our mouth?

6. 1 Timothy 1:3-5 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine, Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than edifying which is in faith: so do. Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

Proverbs 5:21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of YHWH, and he pondereth all his goings.

8. What we touch
2 Cor 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith YHWH, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

9. What we see – What are we looking at when we are on the internet.

Amos 9:8 Behold, the eyes of YHWH Elohim are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith YHWH.

1 Peter 3:12 For the eyes of YHWH are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of YHWH is against them that do evil.

2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of YHWH run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.

Psalms 34:15 The eyes of YHWH are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
