“When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.”

Two people who followed Christ till the cross, one His mother and the other was His favourite disciple. Jesus enduring pain so much on the cross and
still remembered them. He might have searched the entire crowd and found only the two of them who were close to Him.
The heart of Jesus, even at the point of death, going through a lot of pain He still thought about others. He didn’t disappoint them and didn’t leave them empty handed.
I was meditating this portion which I heard from a sermon and made me think about this. How can Jesus do this while going through such suffering?
In a self centred world will I think like Jesus? To to tell truth, I won’t. But Jesus understands each and every thing. Even our deepest cry. He would have seen something that was in their heart and decided to give them.
