DAILY BIBLE LESSON.
WARNING TO A PERSON WHO WILLFULLY CONTINUES IN DISOBEDIENCE.

Please, share this study with your family, friends co-workers, and all who you can, for the expansion of the Kingdom of GOD.

“If we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries” (Hebrews 10:26, 27).
“Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going” (John 12:35).

The Bible leaves no room for doubt. The answer is sobering, but true. When a person knowingly rejects light and continues in disobedience, the light eventually goes out, and he is left in total darkness. A person who rejects truth receives a“strong delusion”to believe that falsehood is truth (2 Thessalonians 2:11). When this happens, he is lost.

WHO IS REALLY BEHIND ALL DISOBEDIENCE, AND WHY???

“He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. ... In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest:Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God” (1 John 3:8, 10).
“Satan ... deceives the whole world” (Revelation 12:9).

ANSWER: The devil is responsible. He knows that all disobedience is sin and that sin brings unhappiness, tragedy, alienation from God, and eventual destruction. In his hatred, he tries to lead every person into disobedience. You are involved. You must face the facts and make a decision. Disobey and be lost, or accept Christ and obey and be saved. Your decision regarding obedience is a decision regarding Christ. You cannot separate Him from truth, because He says,“I am ... the truth”(John 14:6).
“Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve”(Joshua 24:15).

DOES THIS MEAN THAT EVEN THE TEN COMMANDMENTS WILL NOT BE HARD TO OBEY???

“If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15).
“For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome” (1 John 5:3).
“Whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him” (1 John 2:5).

ANSWER: The Bible ties obedience to a genuine love for God. Christians will not find it wearying to keep the Ten Commandments. With all your sins covered by Jesus’ atoning death, your obedience is rooted in His victorious life within you. Because you love Him so deeply for changing your life, you will actually go beyond the requirements of the Ten Commandments. You will regularly search the Bible to know His will, trying to find more ways of expressing your love for Him.
“Whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight” (1 John 3:22,).

HOW CAN YOU BE CERTAIN THAT KEEPING THE TEN COMMANDMENTS IS NOT LEGALISM???

“Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus” (Revelation 14:12).
“[The saints] overcame [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death” (Revelation 12:11).

ANSWER: “Legalism” is trying to earn salvation by good works instead of accepting it as a gift. Saints in the Bible are identified as having four characteristics: (1) keeping the commandments, (2) trusting the blood of the Lamb, (3) sharing their faith with others, and (4) choosing to die rather than to sin. These are the true marks of a person who loves Christ and desires to follow Him.
