It began to grow dark after crossing over the easier path. Hopeful groaned in himself, “Oh that I had kept on my way!” Christian said, “It is my fault. I put you and myself in danger. The easier path was right beside the WAY we were on.” Hopeful replied, “Friend, there is a great deal of difference between being NEAR the truth and being IN the truth.”
