Creation Speaks – The Hidden Star
It is often said that the fruit in the garden was an apple, though Scripture never tells us what it was. Yet when an apple is cut across its centre, something unexpected appears a star, hidden within.
Five seeds, perfectly arranged, forming a quiet pattern of symmetry and order.
It is a gentle reminder that creation often holds more than what is seen on the surface.
In the beginning, humanity reached beyond what God had given, and sin entered the world, bringing separation where there had once been perfect relationship.
Genesis 3:6–7
Yet even in that moment, God spoke a promise that one day, the offspring of the woman would crush the serpent’s head.
Genesis 3:15
God did not leave humanity without hope.
Generations later, a star appeared not hidden within creation, but placed in the heavens leading those who were searching to the One who would restore what had been lost.
Matthew 2:2
The contrast is striking.
What was once taken in secrecy,
God answered with something revealed.
What was hidden within the ordinary,
God displayed in the extraordinary.
Creation itself whispers this truth:
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.”
Psalm 19:1
And at the centre of it all is Jesus the One who brings us back into right relationship with the Father.
“For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things.”
Colossians 1:19–20
Creation still speaks.
Beneath the surface of life beneath routine, distraction, and struggle there is still order, still beauty, still purpose.
And the invitation remains.
If we are willing to cut through the noise,
to lay aside the things that hinder,
and to come back to the centre,
we will find what has always been there
relationship,
promise,
and restoration.
