Tears and Hope

Isaiah 55:6-13

Seek the Lord where He may be found,
Call upon Him when He is near;
Listen closely upon His sound,
There is no need in having fear.

Let the wicked forsake his way,
The unrighteous man of his thought;
Let them continue to go astray,
For it is darkness that they sought.

Let him return unto the Lord,
So that He may have compassion;
For repentance is not ignored,
Having a sincere confession.

For your thoughts are not of His thoughts,
Neither are your ways as His ways;
Your mind having constant onslaughts,
That makes your heart constantly strays.

As Heaven is higher that the earth,
So are His ways higher than yours;
His thoughts having priceless worth,
That your own lifestyle obscures.

For the rain comes down from Heaven,
But water won’t return from earth;
Rather nourishment is given,
Allowing the seed to give birth.

So, His Word shall be going out,
It won’t return to Him empty;
For His Word is without a doubt,
Succeed in the thing that’s plenty.

You shall be going out in joy,
And being led forth in His peace;
The mountains and hills will employ,
Break forth in singing that won’t cease.

Instead of thorns sprouts the fir tree,
Rather than weeds grows the cypress;
Everlasting sign as to see,
Nature’s beauty that shall express.
