I feel that I received some revelation last night concerning my journey of healing. I’ve been in battle with thoughts of what might happen if I choose this decision of faith, and some people’s opinion about my stopping dialysis. I want to say that I truly believe the people from the dialysis clinic are looking out for my well being, but they are basing their beliefs only in natural medical science. They do not take into consideration, the truth of the Word of God. I know that God created medical science, and the people who work in that field, are gifted and serve a great purpose.
I said from the beginning that I, not only believe the Father could heal me, but based on His Word, but that, He’s already made provision for my healing.
I will not give advice to anyone concerning what they should or should not do concerning a medical condition. I can only share my journey as to my personal decisions about healing.
Now, about the revelation that I received last night. I said from the beginning, that I would continue dialysis to allow them to use their testing of my labs, to document my healing. I felt the Spirit say to me, that I should approach my healing as I did my salvation. I didn’t wait until I was cleaned up, to make the decision to accept Christ for my salvation. Why should I wait until I see the results of my healing, before I walk in the faith of my healing? All of the reports and their beliefs in the medical science are based on what they’ve been taught and what they’ve seen. None of it takes into consideration God’s Word as fact or His promises as truth. I can not worry about what might happen tomorrow as to my health if I make this choice. That in itself contradicts the Word, which says take no thought of tomorrow. I am to live each day by faith in my Father’s Word, doing what I’ve been called to do. If I cannot be a demonstration of faith, after what God has brought me through, then I am seriously falling short of my walk in Christ, and I would be doing a disservice to those who are placed in my path. Let God be true and every man be a liar (Romans 3:4).
The bottom line is, I must follow peace. Trying to decide to continue dialysis based on fear of the unknown as to what might happen, causes me to live with anxiety, but overwhelming peace comes as I settle in my heart to walk by faith in the truth of God’s Word, in spite of the natural risks.
