Good morning.
In Gospel of Mark 6, we see three powerful moments: rejection, provision, and trust. Even Jesus Christ faced unbelief, yet He still moved in power where faith was present.
“He was amazed at their lack of faith.” (Mark 6:6)
Message:
Familiarity can make us miss God. When people saw Jesus as “just the carpenter,” they blocked their own breakthrough. But where faith showed up, miracles followed.
“You give them something to eat.” (Mark 6:37)
Teaching:
God often starts with what’s in your hand. Five loaves and two fish were nothing in the natural, but in Jesus’ hands, it became more than enough.
Little + God = Overflow
“Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” (Mark 6:50)
Devotion:
In the storm, the disciples were afraid, even after seeing miracles. This shows us:
Miracles don’t sustain you, revelation of Jesus does.
Key Truths:
• Don’t let familiarity kill your faith
• What you have is enough when God is in it
• Trust Jesus, even when you don’t understand the storm
Prayer:
Lord, increase my faith. Help me not to doubt You in familiar places or fearful moments. Teach me to trust You with what I have and to recognize You even in the storm. Amen.
