Daily Bread Fellowship — Monday Encouragement
Scripture
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom He has chosen as His heritage!” — Psalm 33:12
Encouragement
This week we have seen something significant — the reading of God’s Word within the government of the United States. This is a reminder that the Word of God still carries authority, truth, and power in every place, from the quiet home to the highest offices of leadership.
While this is encouraging, it also calls us to something deeper. The power of Scripture is not found merely in it being read publicly, but in it being received, believed, and lived out in the hearts of people. True transformation does not begin in institutions—it begins in individuals whose lives are surrendered to God.
Let this moment stir our hearts to pray. Pray that God’s Word would not return void, but would convict, guide, and transform those who hear it. Pray for leaders to walk in wisdom, humility, and righteousness. And most importantly, let it remind us to remain faithful in our own lives, holding firmly to the truth of Scripture.
God’s Word is living and active. Wherever it is read, it has the power to change lives.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, we thank You that Your Word is being read and heard in places of leadership. We pray that it would take root in hearts and bring wisdom, conviction, and righteousness. Guide those in authority to lead with truth and integrity. And help us, Lord, to live according to Your Word each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
