NEED TO KNOW.
The Word of God, vs. the Traditions of Men...Who Are You Really Following?
Christ’s commission is clear: we are to teach exactly what He taught—nothing more, nothing less.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.” (Matthew 28:19–20, NKJV)
Jesus didn’t give authority to man-made systems to change His word. He said plainly:
“He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.” (John 14:24, NKJV)
Love for Christ is shown through obedience to His teachings, not by following traditions that replace or contradict them.
And we are not left without guidance. Christ promised:
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” (John 14:26, NKJV)
The Holy Spirit is our teacher—not earthly institutions that exalt themselves above Scripture.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105, NKJV)
God’s Word is our guide—not man-made authority.
Yet today, much of Christianity follows doctrines that cannot be found in the teachings of Christ. Systems have arisen that claim authority above the Word of God, altering His commandments and leading many into confusion.
But God has always had a faithful people who search the Scriptures, who test everything by His Word, and who follow the Lamb wherever He leads.
This is a call to return:
Back to the teachings of Christ
Back to obedience to His Word
Back to the guidance of the Holy Spirit
Do not follow a system—follow Christ.
