Someone asked me if where does my emotional strength came from. As a Christian and as a woman, I’m not always emotionally strong. Sometimes hormones hit and everything feels heavier than it should. But one thing I’ve learned is not to let my emotions control me. I may not always control what I feel, but I can choose how I respond. “Be angry and do not sin” (Ephesians 4:26). I also learned not to suppress what I’m feeling. I acknowledge it. I sit with it. Because pretending I’m okay when I’m not doesn’t make me strong. Being honest with myself actually helps me see where I need to grow. And when I bring it to God, that’s where my real strength starts.
As a believer, what can you advice to me?
