Father God,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this VBS in Iringa, in Lake Kyoga, Uganda, into Your hands. Lord, this is Yours. Every child, every leader, every moment—we surrender it completely to You.
Father, as we have shifted from four days to two days, we ask for Your divine covering over this outreach. You are not limited by time. What we cannot accomplish in our own strength, You can do powerfully through Your Spirit. Lord, multiply the impact. Do more in these two days than we could ever plan or imagine.
Lord, we ask for Your healing hand upon us—over every leader, every volunteer, and every child. Strengthen bodies, renew minds, and fill hearts with Your peace. Remove any weariness, distraction, or opposition, and replace it with strength, focus, and unity in the Spirit.
Holy Spirit, we ask You to guide every part of this VBS. As we teach through the book of Colossians, we pray that Your truth would go forth with clarity and power. Teach these children who they are in Christ—that they are chosen, forgiven, redeemed, and made alive in You. Let their identity be firmly rooted in You, Lord.
And Father, teach them not just who they are—but how to live. Show them how to walk in obedience, how to reflect Christ in their daily lives, and how to be bold witnesses in their homes, their schools, and their communities. Let this be more than teaching—let it be transformation.
Lord, we pray for salvations. Draw hearts to Yourself. Open eyes, soften hearts, and bring many into a true and lasting relationship with Jesus Christ. Let there be freedom, joy, repentance, and new life.
We ask for Your protection over every child and every leader. Cover their coming and going. Let this be a place of safety, peace, and the tangible presence of God.
Father, let Your presence fill every teaching, every small group, every time of worship, and every activity. Let this VBS in Iringa be marked by Your Spirit moving in power and truth.
We trust You fully. We give You everything. Have Your way, Lord.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
