Psalm 118:8
It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man.

Thus says YHWH: “Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh his arm and turns away his heart from YHWH.
Our trust and confidence must be in GOD alone, who raises up people to fulfill the purposes of His heart.
Any human being is bound to failure at some point, whether a politician or a pastor, doctor or even a friend. We all are exposed to the same weaknesses and temptations, so makes us think they won't fail us?
Proverbs 3:5

6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
