• Christ is risen! The entire universe sings the triumphant chorus, with earth and heaven shouting their praise back and forth in ecstatic joy.
• Redemption is realized! Jesus fulfilled God’s purposes in the redemption of all humankind. Through Christ, the way is open for all to love God and enjoy God forever.
• Death is defeated! Through his death and resurrection, Jesus defeated our final enemy. No power in the universe is more powerful than love.
• Love is lived! Because of what Christ has done, we have the capacity to love as he has loved us. God conforms us to his image. “Made like him, like him we rise” into the heights of God’s love.
• Heaven is here! God raises us to newness of life now. God pours heaven into our hearts now by the power of the Resurrection. We need not wait to experience heaven in the life to come; heaven breaks in upon us this very moment.
