I created my account yesterday, and this was the first Bible verse I saw after joining. I was about to introduce myself and share how God has been compassionate in my life, but I couldn’t since my account was only verified today. So here I am now.

Hi, I'm Eissen. And I believe this verse is the perfect way to introduce myself.

Before, I was a fish vendor in our family business. I believed in God and Jesus, but I didn’t have a real relationship with Him.

I didn’t pray. I just lived day by day.

At that time, I thought that was already my life. Like that was my end game. My salary came from our family, and deep in my heart, I knew I wanted something more.

I wanted to prove something to myself.

But I was scared.

I was the type of person who just enjoyed life, spent whatever I had, and didn’t really think long-term.

Then one day, I just stopped showing up at the family business and started learning remote work instead. That’s when I started praying—every day.

And God… He really listens.

After just 2 months of learning, I got my first client. But honestly, at first, she was hesitant.

My savings were already running low, but my hope & faith did not.

One day, while I was out with my partner just trying to cope, we bought ice cream and talked about life.

The song “Nothing is Impossible” was playing. And then… right after we got home, that same client reached out and said she needed my services.

That was my answered prayer. I cried.

Fast forward to now; it’s been a year, and I’m still working with that same client.

But life didn’t suddenly become easy.

There were days I struggled to show up.

Some days I felt ungrateful, even though I knew this job was a blessing.

And I hated feeling that way.

Then I lost my first-ever dog.

She fought so hard to stay, but she passed. And that broke me. I felt like I failed her because I wasn’t stable yet and I was too focused on work.

But somehow, that loss changed me.

It brought me closer to God.

To honor her, I started feeding stray dogs. It was my first time doing it.

And even if my money were small, I noticed something—I didn’t feel lack.

I didn’t feel fear about money the same way anymore.

I just knew I had to keep doing better and learn how to handle what God gives me.

One night, after a month of mourning, I prayed.

I was crying like usual—but this time, it was different.

I looked back at everything God has done for me.

All the answered prayers.

All His compassion.

And I cried so hard, I didn’t even care if anyone could hear me.

Because in that moment, I realized something…

God is not just in heaven.

He’s with us.

He speaks to our hearts.

He’s in our every step.

And in that moment, I felt something in my heart say,
“I told you, you can do it.”

I cried like I was talking to my father, who really understands me and will protect me. (I grew up with no father figure.)

So hi, I’m new here.
If you’re reading this, nice to meet you. I love you already.

I’m so happy I found a space for us to share about our Savior.
Let’s keep this going—tell your story too.

Let’s share how great our God is.
