Planted by Living Waters

There is a place in God where striving stops and the soul begins to breathe again.

In prayer, I saw a tree planted beside flowing water.
Full. Green. Alive.

It wasn’t reaching or searching
it was already positioned in life.

Its roots were hidden, drawing deeply from the water.
At its base, the ground was soft a place of rest.

And there, leaning against the tree, was Jesus.

Not calling.
Not correcting.
Just present.

I sat beside Him, close enough to rest.
No urgency.
No pressure.
Just peace.

And everything in that moment whispered the same truth:

You are already planted.
You are already held.
You are already near.

Scripture says the one who delights in the Lord is like a tree planted by streams of water. This kind of life doesn’t come from striving it comes from remaining.

Remaining in His presence.
Remaining in His love.

You don’t have to force growth.
You don’t have to make it happen.

You simply stay.

Because fruit doesn’t come from striving
it flows from abiding.

You are not forgotten.
You are not behind.
You are not lacking.

You are planted by living waters.

And here, in His presence, your soul is restored.
