After David, we had Solomon and the collapse of the King's.
Juda and Israel was split.
Then came King Acer in Juda.
He loved God. Was faithful, and God helped him prosper.
A military from Etheopia of a million soldiers came to attack, and God protected Acer. (Read 2 Chronicles from chapter 12.)
Here's the thing though. Acer turned to his own power later in his life, and God's protection fell from him.
He ended up losing a lot, including his life.

His son however, who took over from him, loved God. and learned to love God from his father's actions, not his teachings.

What can we learn from this?

Trust In God. Not putting your faith in God during the good and the bad will result in you failing, especially in sobriety. God wants us to be faithful to Him, in order for us to receive His multitude of blessings.

Trust God = Blessing.
No Trust = Failure.

see, God doesn't promise that life will always be easy. But He does promise that He will always be there, and putting your trust in Him will see you achieving so many great things in life.

Through trusting God, I am 13 years clean and sober. People may say that is not a miracle, but if you knew me, you would know how miraclulous that is.

Trust in God with your whole heaty today. I promise you will see your life change.
