Rejoice Over Restoration
(Luke 15:27)

Luke 15:27 says, “Your brother has come, and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound.” This verse comes from the story of the prodigal son. It reveals the heart of God as a loving Father who celebrates restoration.

Sometimes people wander away through mistakes, pride, pain, or bad choices. Yet when they return, God does not reject them—He receives them with joy. Heaven rejoices when one lost soul comes back to the Father. Where others may remember your past, God focuses on your return.

This verse also teaches us to celebrate others' progress. The elder brother struggled with jealousy instead of joy. We must learn not to envy another person’s restoration, blessing, or breakthrough. When God restores someone, it is a testimony of His mercy.

No matter how far you have gone, you can come back to God today. His arms are still open, and His love is still available. He restores lives, families, peace, and purpose.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your mercy and love. Thank You because You welcome us back when we return to You. Restore every broken area of my life and remove jealousy from my heart. Help me to rejoice in the blessings of others and walk in Your grace always. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
