I work security. My previous post i loved but the contract was terminated when the property was sold so inwas put at the post NOBODY wanted, the homeless shelter. After a week, i could see why everyone hated it. Its depressing having to witness the failing decay of western society every day. I also hate it and ive been applying literally everywhere else i can. For perspective, ive NEVER had any issue getting a job when i wanted one. I interview well and have a ton of qualifications spanning a wide array of skills but, after placing well over 100 apps. Ive gottn 0 call backs. Its been disheartening to say the least. Then the other day i met another Christian here, a resident, and we began talking about faith and pursuits in the work. Before long, it weighed on my heart that maybe ive been stuck here because im SUPPOSED to be here... to witness to these people. I dont know.
