What is True Worship to GOD?
True worship is worship that comes from the depths of the heart. AccordingtoJohn we must worship "in truth and in spirit".
"in truth" refers to worshipping God according to the truths and teachings of the word of God, sinerely as opposed to worship an image of another diety, person or object, which in of itself is idolatry. Some worship God while distracted, Some may even appear to be worshipping God with all their hearts but in their hearts they are thinking about their next appointments or the delicious meal tgat they will eat immediately after the worship. They are worshipping God with a deceptive heart, while others think they are worshipping God their minds are somewhere else. This is contrary to the scriptures and is not true worship.

We must approach God and offer ourselves completely to him no Idols or strings attached. John 4:24 God is a spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in truth and in spirit.
