Show His Love

"O Lord, You have searched me and known to me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down and are acquainted with ALL my ways, For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether. You have hedged me behind and before and laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain it"…Psalm 139 1-6.
I challenge each of you to read the rest of this glorious Psalm. We see death, destruction, rumors of war, and evil in all its ugliness. As I was reading over this Psalm, I realized again that GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL! I am so grateful that He calls me His beloved daughter, His princess who knows what my thoughts are as well as the words I speak. He knew me in my mother's womb! One cannot get any more intimate than that!
I truly look forward to sitting at the feet of Abba Father and feeling in awe at the glory of His presence. However, Abba Father has work for me to do before that comes to pass. Last week in the women's group I am co-leading on depression, one of the dear 80-year-old saints reminded us that we "are in boot camp!" I never looked at it in that light, but it somehow changes the trials we go through.
When we go on that final "march" to heaven, I more than anything else, want to hear Abba Father say to me, "well done, thou good and faithful servant". My husband encountered the woman who was responsible for his firing last summer, and he walked up to her, gave her a hug, and she immediately said to him, "Tom can you forgive me for last summer"? He immediately replied, "Yes, I forgive you, even though it took a while". I feel so blessed and honored to have a husband who honors Abba Father, and I know he is my gift from Abba Father! God was in those words to this woman; Tom was only the vehicle Abba Father used.
I pray that just as Abba Father loves us, we will show His love in all of those areas of our lives where we touch others, especially in those times, when we "don't feel like it". God does know our most hidden areas and is able to work in and through those areas. Praise His Holy and blessed Name. Bless the Lord Oh my Soul, and forget not His ways!!!!!
God will see us all through whatever it is we have to face in the future and I can rest in that completely. Lift up our President also, and ask that God will give him His wisdom and knowledge, as well as protect him and his family. I love you all and praise God for this ministry!
