Daily Bread Fellowship — Wednesday Encouragement
Scripture
“These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.” — John 15:11
Encouragement
As the week reaches its midpoint, it is easy to feel the weight of responsibilities and the pull of weariness. Yet Jesus offers something greater than temporary relief—He offers His joy. Not a shallow happiness that depends on circumstances, but a deep, abiding joy rooted in His presence.
The joy of Christ does not come from everything going perfectly. It comes from knowing Him, walking with Him, and trusting that He is at work in every moment of your life. Even in challenges, His joy can steady your heart and lift your spirit.
Today, choose to remain in Him. Spend time in His Word, speak with Him in prayer, and allow His truth to shape your thoughts. As you do, His joy will begin to fill you—not just partially, but fully.
Walk through this day with a quiet confidence and a joyful heart, knowing that the joy of the Lord is your strength.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for the joy that comes from knowing You. Help me to remain in You today so that Your joy may fill my heart. Lift my spirit above my circumstances and strengthen me with Your presence. Let Your joy be my strength in all I do. Amen.
