Thankful Thursday Morning Prayer

Heavenly Father,
We come before You this morning with hearts full of gratitude. Thank You for waking us up, for the breath in our lungs, and for the gift of another day. Your Word declares in Psalm 118:24, “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” So today, we choose joy. We choose gratitude. We choose to bless Your holy name.
Lord, we thank You for Your mercy that kept us through the night and Your grace that sustains us each day. As it is written in Lamentations 3:22–23, “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning…” Father, we receive Your new mercy right now.
We thank You for every blessing—seen and unseen. For the doors You’ve opened and even the ones You kept shut for our protection. Your Word reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” So in all things—good or challenging—we say thank You.
Father, we ask that You order our steps today. Guide our decisions, guard our hearts, and give us wisdom in every situation. Let Your peace rule in our lives, just as You promised in Isaiah 26:3, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee…”
Strengthen us, Lord, for whatever this day may bring. Help us to walk in love, patience, and kindness. Let our lives be a reflection of Your goodness. Use us as vessels to encourage someone else today.
We thank You in advance for provision, protection, and favor. As Your Word says in Philippians 4:19, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” We trust You as our source.
Lord, we surrender this day to You. Have Your way in our lives. Be glorified in all that we do.

Today I am thankful, blessed, and covered by the grace of God. I will walk in peace, purpose, and power. Everything I need, God has already provided. This is a good day because God is with me!
