Day 1 — J — Jesus Is Our Justifier
Scripture (NKJV):
“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” — Romans 5:1
The cross was not merely an example of love — it was a divine rescue mission. Every sinner stands guilty before a holy God, but Jesus stepped into our place and bore the judgment we deserved. Through His blood, the believer is declared righteous. The word justified means to be declared righteous in the courtroom of heaven.
Satan accuses. Conscience condemns. The world mocks. But the blood of Jesus answers every accusation for the one who has trusted Him.
The Gospel is not “try harder.” The Gospel is “Christ paid it all.”
There is peace with God only through Jesus Christ. No church membership, good works, morality, or religious effort can save a soul. Salvation is by grace through faith in the crucified and risen Savior.
If you belong to Christ today, stand boldly in His grace. If you do not know Him, run to the cross while mercy is still offered.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for justifying guilty sinners through Your sacrifice. Help me live today in gratitude, boldness, and holiness. Amen.
Day 2 — E — Jesus Is Eternal
Scripture (NKJV):
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” — Hebrews 13:8
Everything in this world changes. Nations rise and fall. Health fades. People disappoint. Feelings fluctuate. But Jesus Christ never changes.
The same Savior who called fishermen by the Sea of Galilee still saves sinners today. The same Lord who touched lepers still restores broken lives. The same King who conquered death still reigns in power.
Because Jesus is eternal, His promises are secure. His Word is trustworthy. His salvation is complete.
The believer does not stand on shifting sand but on the solid rock of Christ. When storms come, cling to the unchanging Savior.
And for the lost sinner, this truth is both comforting and sobering. The same Christ who offers mercy today will one day return in judgment. Today is the day of salvation.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You that You never change. Anchor my heart in Your eternal truth and keep my eyes fixed on You. Amen.
Day 3 — S — Jesus Is the Savior
Scripture (NKJV):
“For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” — Luke 19:10
Jesus did not come merely to improve lives — He came to save souls.
Humanity is lost without Christ. Religion cannot save. Good intentions cannot save. Baptism cannot save. Only Jesus saves.
The Savior came willingly into a sinful world, walked among broken people, and stretched out His hands on a Roman cross. He took the wrath of God upon Himself so that sinners could be forgiven.
What amazing grace — that the Holy Son of God would die for rebels!
Some are trying to hide their sin. Others are trying to outrun guilt. But Jesus seeks the lost. No one is too far gone for His mercy.
The empty tomb declares victory. Sin was defeated. Death was conquered. Salvation is available to all who repent and believe the Gospel.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for seeking and saving the lost. Give me boldness to share the Gospel with others today. Amen.
Day 4 — U — Jesus Understands Our Weakness
Scripture (NKJV):
“For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.” — Hebrews 4:15
Jesus is not distant from our struggles. He understands sorrow, rejection, temptation, weariness, and pain.
He was betrayed by friends, mocked by men, rejected by His own people, and crucified by sinners. Yet He never sinned.
What comfort this brings to the believer. We serve a compassionate High Priest who invites us to come boldly to the throne of grace.
When you are weary, He understands.
When you are hurting, He understands.
When temptation presses hard, He understands.
But unlike us, Jesus overcame perfectly. Therefore, He is able not only to sympathize — but also to strengthen and deliver.
Do not run from Him in your weakness. Run to Him.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for understanding my weaknesses and meeting me with mercy and grace. Strengthen me to walk faithfully today. Amen.
Day 5 — S — Jesus Is Sovereign King
Scripture (NKJV):
“And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.” — Revelation 19:16
Jesus is not merely a teacher or prophet. He is the sovereign King of glory.
Today many reject Him, mock Him, or ignore Him. But a day is coming when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
The risen Christ reigns now at the right hand of the Father. Nothing happens outside His authority. Kings, governments, history, and nations remain under His sovereign hand.
For the believer, this brings deep confidence. Our King cannot fail. His kingdom cannot be shaken. His promises cannot be broken.
For the unbeliever, this is a solemn warning. The King who now offers grace will one day judge the world in righteousness.
Make sure Christ is not only your Savior — but also your Lord.
Prayer:
King Jesus, rule over my heart and life. Help me live boldly for Your glory as I await Your return. Amen.
