This is Ellen White's commentary on Revelation
21:1-5

Revelation 21:1-5 (KJV) And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

No sign remains of sin but one

The fire consumes the wicked purifies the earth. Ever trace of the cures is swept away. No eternal burning hell will keep before the ransomed the fearful consequences of sin.one reminder alone remain: Our Redeemer will ever bear the marks of His crucifixion. Upon His wounded head , upon His side His hands and feet , are the only traces of the cruel work that sin has wrought.

God with us forever

Our little world, under the curse of sin the one dark blot in His glorious creation, will be honored above all other worlds in the universe of God. Here, where the Son of God tabernacled in humanity; where the King of glory lived and suffered and died --here, when He shall make all things new, the tabernacle of God shall be with men, "and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.
