HINTS FOR UPLOADING FILES TO LORDSBOOK.COM
( my LATEST Posts are below this Post )
I use a laptop as I need easy access to technical services and shortcut icons on my screen.
Sorry, if You may be having problems using tablets or phones when Posting.

I'll deal with static images first...

On the UPLOAD PHOTOS button ; Jpegs, Png, and Webp files appear to be the only formats acceptable right now
GIF FILES OF ANY KIND ARE REFUSED
A Gif file ( whether static image or animated ) has to be converted to Webp format.
Use the Free online of service of ONLINE CONVERTOR at https://www.online-convert.com/
Select Option 'IMAGE CONVERTOR' and THEN press 'Convert to WebP'
- Then upload your Gif image and follow the directions to download the completed WebP image result.
Upload it at UPLOAD PHOTOS on Lordsbook and place some text if appropriate before ( or later by edit) pressing your POST button.
You may also PIN ANY kind of Post so that it will remain at the head of all your present and later Posts until you Unpin it !
You may need to REFRESH the page to see that the Post is actually PINNED At least I have to do that !
For the file conversion / optimization and other useful features, use the Free online LUNAPIC service at https://www5.lunapic.com/editor/
Play around with these free services - It's amazing what is available

Movies/ Reels
They have to be in MP4 file format in all cases, but Youtube transfer is the easiest to deal with.
Copy and paste the specific Video address for the individual full video or short video.
Paste it into the Lordsbook Post field. Now that your account has been approved, the initial static image of the Youtube video should now appear . Add some text ABOVE the image, and EITHER Post immediately, or Edit and add some text later.
You do not need to keep the Youtube link address on your Post. You may delete that address once the image from Youtube has appeared OR leave out that action. Your viewers will automatically be given that option to view the video direct from Youtube if they wish.

Videos and reels appearing on Facebook: These do not successfully transfer to Lordsbook 'as is'
You need to convert the facebook link to create an MP4 file format ( acceptable movie file format ) before uploading to Lordsbook.
UNDERNEATH the ORIGINAL facebook Post ( often BENEATH the TIMESTAMP of the original post, you will see a 'copy link' option )- copy that link and paste it into the free online service of https://getmyfb.com/facebook-to-mp4
IGNORE any intervening Ads and download the results to your computer - change the TITLE of the MP4 to whatever is suitable.
Upload using the Lordsbook UPLOAD VIDEOS ( the 'UPLOAD REEL' is for another section of the platform.)
This will work for all facebook videos as long as they are not categorized as Private.
