The Bible does not end the Sabbath at the cross and it does not cancel it in eternity. It actually carries it forward into the new earth. Isaiah 66:22 to 23 says from one Sabbath to another all flesh will come and worship before God. That is not Old Testament Israel only. That is all humanity in the restored creation. If Sabbath was just a temporary Jewish rule, why is it still there after sin is gone and everything is made new
Let’s be honest. People say the Sabbath was nailed to the cross, but the Bible never says that about the seventh day. What was nailed to the cross were the ceremonial laws pointing to Christ, not the moral law written by God’s own finger. The Sabbath is part of the Ten Commandments, the same law that says do not kill and do not steal. If you claim nine still stand but one is gone, you are picking and choosing, not following Scripture
So here is the straight truth. If you are uncomfortable with the Sabbath now, heaven is going to feel very strange to you. Because in God’s kingdom, worship is not random and it is not man made. It is centered on the day God blessed and made holy from the beginning. The Sabbath is not a burden. It is a sign of loyalty to the Creator. Reject it now, and you are not just rejecting a day, you are pushing back against the authority of God Himself
