As you step into this new Monday morning after a powerful Mother’s Day worship experience, may this prayer remind you that the same God who sustained the widow at Zarephath is the same God sustaining you today.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You this Monday morning with grateful hearts, thanking You for carrying us through another week and allowing us to hear Your Word on yesterday. Lord, we declare today that You are our Source, our Provider, our Sustainer, and our Keeper.
Just as You sustained the widow in the time of famine, You are still able to sustain Your people in seasons of lack, uncertainty, weariness, and waiting. When resources seem low, when strength feels weak, and when answers are delayed, help us remember that our supply does not come from man — it comes from You.
Father, teach us to trust You no matter how things look. Even when the barrel seems almost empty and the cruse appears to be running dry, let our faith stand firm knowing that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. You have never failed, and You will not fail us now.
Lord, thank You for every praying mother, every grandmother, every caregiver, every woman who continues to pour out love while depending on Your strength. Refresh them today. Renew their minds, heal their bodies, and encourage their spirits. Let them know that the God who sustained them yesterday will sustain them today and tomorrow.
Father, for every person walking into this week carrying burdens, disappointments, financial struggles, sickness, grief, or uncertainty, remind them that You are still in control. Open doors no man can shut. Make ways in the wilderness. Send unexpected blessings. Release peace into troubled hearts and hope into weary souls.
Lord, we declare this Monday:
• We will not fear lack because God is our Source.
• We will not quit because God is sustaining us.
• We will not lose hope because God finishes what He starts.
• We will not be moved by what we see because we walk by faith and not by sight.
Strengthen us to obey You even when we do not understand the full plan. Give us faith like the widow who trusted Your Word in the middle of a famine. Let miracles follow obedience in our lives.
Father, complete every assignment, promise, healing, breakthrough, and purpose You have begun in us. Your Word declares that He who began a good work in us will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. We stand on that promise this morning.
As we go throughout this day, order our steps, guard our families, protect our homes, cover our children, and lead us by Your Spirit. Let favor surround us like a shield, and let Your presence go before us in everything we do.
We are sustained by Your grace, upheld by Your power, and covered by Your mercy.
In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
Declaration for Monday Morning:
“I may not know how God is going to do it, but I know He will provide. The same God who sustained the widow will sustain me. What God started in my life, He will finish. I am sustained by God!”
