A person who fears God becomes teachable. They are willing to listen, grow, and accept correction. But fools reject wisdom because pride makes them resist instruction. They rely only on their own understanding and ignore godly counsel, which often leads to wrong decisions.
This verse encourages us to stay humble before God and remain open to learning. The more we walk with God, the more He gives us wisdom to make the right choices, build good character, and live purposefully.
