One great obstacle that hinders us from walking in the fullness of life in Christ and the joy of our salvation is the presence of powerful arguments within our own souls against the beauty of the Gospel. The god we are most often serving is our own internal voice, deficient in the love of Jesus and His perspective on who we are and why we are valuable to Him. The inside voice we are enslaved to is the prideful voice of our own perfectionism and our own sense of failure and inadequacy.
